Practice Profiling Muslims

Profiling people at airports? Lets play "Spot the Muslim/Terrorist"
shall we?

Here’s a photo of one of Iran’s top soccer stars – would you be able to

pick him out as a "Muslim" and therefore a potential terrorist who
should be profiled?

Here’s another Muslim – would you be able to spot him?

This fellow would obviously be entitled to a free pass:

How about this fellow – oh he must REALLY be one of them sneaky
muslims, what with those dark swarthy looks. Why, he’s even wearing
sheets!

Course, this fellow is arguably swarthy, but that’s because his father
is Jamaican ( you know, Axis of Evil Jamaica?)

How about this fellow – no problem letting him on board the airplane,
since he’s neither a Muslim nor particularly swarthy

(Carlos the Jackal, FYI)

Hmm… Turbans, Beards, funny religious practices. Oh my! These fellows

should DEFINITELY be singled out!

And this guy – a Christian fellow named George. Nah, can’t be a
terrorist. Let him on board without a second glance.

Oh wait – what about this guy. Why, with all that red hair, he’s
obviously Irish!

Yes  the sooner we stick to profiling them suspiciously swarthy
"Muslim" people the safer we’ll all be. Amen.

Did’ja notice that the web page says he played his first inbternational
game about 11 years before he was born? What a talent!

Is this profiling occuring during the DRIVE to or the DRIVE from the
airport? And what do we call it DWA (Driving while Arab), DWM (Driving
While Muslim) or DWPOT (Driving While Posting Off Topic)??

You win a medal for catching a typo.

No thanks, I’ll just take the cash.

"profiling" is just narrowing down or refining your search so you aren’t
    wasting resources looking at everyone.

    It’s plain common-sense.

What Anthony Bamford means is "sell us Jaguar without Land Rover, because
it’s a liability and we’ll get it cheap". It would be the best thing to
happen to Jaguar as JCB are progressive and they have cash. They also know
where Jaguar should sit in the market and that is not selling Mondeos with
    expensive badges.

I was at Browns Lane three weeks ago and to say it was, until recently,
making modern motor cars is depressing. The only modern part of the plant is
the office block and Heritage Centre which face Browns Lane, the rest is
fifties vintage at a guess. I’ve only been to Castle Bromwich once and from
what I saw, that was pretty much the same. Don’t get me wrong, the machine
tools are modern and the robots too, but wheeling sub-assemblies outside
(but not when it’s raining) from shed to shed is not c21 auto manufacture.

There will be redundancies and that will be regrettable, but let us learn
from the Rover fiasco. The streets were full of naive protesters when
Alchemy were bidding for Rover and when their bid failed they all breathed a
sigh of relief. What they didn’t realise, was that Alchemy were being
brutally honest with them. "You can’t go on the way you are doing, so we’ll
play to your strengths and make most of you redundant, but you’ll get around
£50k each". We all know the rest of the story.
