I read a couple of articles here about driving schools, and I can definately
recommend one for the NASCAR Winston Cup fans out there. It is the Fast Track
High Performance Driving School which runs classes at the Charlotte and the
Atlanta Motor Speedways in the east and at Phoenix International Raceway in
Arizona. I took the basic oval course at Charlotte in August and it was an
absolute blast to drive several Winston Cup, Busch Grand National and
Sportsman Division race cars over the course of three days. The cost was $1800
for the three days (does not include hotel or transportation but they cut deals
with some agencies) and they provide firesuits and helmets, or you can bring
