Is there any experiences about Mazda Protégé ES, 2000 automatic
transmission. 88 000 miles. I have round 5000 USD and a guy is selling
this car for 5500. I am wondering if I should go with this deal?

DUI with THREE priors kills two women

How many times does this have to be explained? Drunk drivers can’t be
cured. One conviction and you should forever lose all driving
privilieges. But criminal coddler america won’t take that step.

Man Pleads Guilty In Fatal Driveway Crash Fri Mar 24, 6:38 PM ET

A repeat drunken driver pleaded guilty Friday in the deaths of two
women, KMBC’s Peggy Breit reported.

Michael "Nick" Vinzant was 18 last September when he plowed his pickup
truck into a car that was pulling out of a driveway on Northeast
Russell Road. Two female cousins in the car, Suzanne Miller and Gloria
Rios, were killed.

Vinzant had three prior convictions for drunken driving. In a Clay
County courtroom Friday, he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter
and two drug charges.

Vinzant faces 30 years in prison, a sentence family and friends said
he accepts because he feels so guilty.

do i need a drivers license to drive in the parking lot

do i need a drivers license to drive in the parking lot? I got a ticket
for having a suspended drivers licence while in the parking lot of a
restaurant. Did the trooper have the authority to give me the ticket?
He has no way to prove that i intended to drive off the lot.

Street roadracing rules

Street roadracing where not prohibited, has three simple rules.

1. The Winner is in front at the finish.

2. The Leader chooses the course.

3. The finish is when the stalker quits the course.

Known Pioneers R.I.P.

Known Pioneers
50 years ago we had a car culture here in the U.S.  People could put
together their own Hot Rods and drive them around the block without
police interference.  Gas was less than 30 cents a gallon.  Driving for
pleasure was not considered environmentally unfriendly.  The density of
cars per mile of road was a fraction of what it is now.  Cars were
still evolving.  Carroll Shelby (ford), Colin Chapman (lotus), Zora
Arkus-Duntov (Corvette), Jim Hall (Chaparral), and Enzo were still
experimenting.  It was because of these pioneers that the average car
of today offers greater everything than the exceptional sports car of
just a few years ago.

As you are well aware, at some point accountants took over GM.  Many
generations of people have since been born.  Most cars say nothing more
to these people about a Driver than the washing machines that they use
to wash their clothes, or the windows computer that they use to check
their email.  If cars could be driven at 100% of there capabilities
then a Porsche could show it is different than a Toyota.  As they are
driven today, the only difference that I can see is the middies offers
a greater safety margin in the rain to the trained driver.  They both
get from point A to point B in about the same amount of seconds.  No
one looks at them or even cares.  Today’s cars are ugly.  We no
longer see it imperative that high performance drivers receive special
training, if it was available.  Anybody can have any car they want if
they just wait for a few years and buy it used as the price plummets.
Cars depreciate for good reason.

These pioneers were not replaced, they now write software.

Some good news – Sicko auto racer Paul Dana killed at track

Speeders murder innocent americans every day on our highways  and by
participating in the "sport" of auto racing, paul dana encouraged
that.  Good riddance.

Dana dies after horrific IndyCar crash

Associated Press  Posted: 1 hour ago

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (AP) – Paul Dana was an up-and-coming rookie driver
living his dream, a former motorsports journalist who was hours away
Sunday from beginning his most promising season yet.

Then, before the green flag flew, something went terribly,
inexplicably wrong.
While streaking around the Homestead-Miami Speedway oval during a
warmup session, Dana failed to notice that another car had spun to a
stop, slamming into it at close to 200 mph. Two hours after his
shattered car came to a rest, the 30-year-old Dana was pronounced dead
at a hospita
