New Jersey posts notices at each major road entering the state
that reads "Keep Right Except To Pass" which is occasionally
strictly enforced. BTW, NJ also posts it at those points what
our speed limits are: 25 urban, 50 rural unless otherwise
posted (and urban is considered so if there are buildings
every few hundred feet from what I’ve been told).
